    Respond Right Assessor

    The Respond Right Assessor program is conducted over two (2) days if all home study is completed prior to the commencement of the course (depending on the status of the Instructor).

    Prerequisites:

    • Be at least 21 years old.
    • Own a personal set of professional type and quality AED, Manikin, and O2 delivery unit.
    • Be an active Respond Right Asia Divers First Aid Instructor.
    • Have no ethics or Standards violation pending or any verified ethics or Standards violations in the past 12 months with Respond Right Asia or any other training organization.
    • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from active Respond Right Asia Instructor Trainer

    Certification and Active Status Requirements:

    • Maintain proof of current training in First Aid and CPR.
    • Maintain proof of current training in the emergency administration of o2. This shall include knowledge of the medical principles involved and the practical use of an emergency oxygen unit.
    • Display leadership behaviours as well as pass all requirements as listed in the program curriculum.
    • These requirements include:
    • Pass a Final Exam with a minimum score of 95%.
    • Passed a demonstration quality Academic Teaching Evaluation lesson with a 52 point score.
    • Pass an interactive workshop presentation.
    • Consistently evaluate academic and workshop presentations within 2 marks of HQ.
    • Exemplify the Respond Right Asia philosophy and display competence in applying the Respond Right Asia Business System.
    • Comply every two (2) years with all Renewal procedures.
    • Maintain Professional Liability Insurance (where applicable).
    • Attend Assessor Update at least once every two years or when required by Respond Right Asia HQ.
    • Must work through an active Respond Right Asia Training Centre.

    **Respond Right Assessor can only be certified by an RRA HQ – Examiner
