Learn how to safely provide o2:
This course covers the outcomes required to recognize and respond to situations that require the application of basic o2 therapy and o2 resuscitation as appropriate until the arrival of medical assistance. Learning first aid skills has been made easier with Respond Rights unique, practical based training. In this course, you will learn to provide basic first aid resuscitation techniques, life support, and management of casualty(s).This course is designed to teach the administration of o2 as a means of increasing the effectiveness of First Aid treatment of diving accidents. O2 treatment takes place on the surface – either on a boat dry land or workplace environment. This course gives confidence to divers so they can assist with a diving related injury.
What you’ll learn
The O2 Administration course has a mix of class room based and practical lessons, teaching you;
1. basic life support
2. use of the pocket mask
3. o2 and diving incidents and how they benefit from o2
4. casualty assessment
5. the use of o2 administration equipment
Please note: It is a requirement for this course that the practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the floor.
** This course concludes with a practical and theory assessment. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for Basic O2 Administration, Certification card, and wall diploma.The Chain of Survival
