Instructor Trainer

Instructor Level 3 - Respond Right Instructor Trainer

The Respond Right Instructor Trainer course is conducted over two (2) days, if all home study is completed prior to the commencement of the course (depending of status of the Instructor).

Prerequisites:

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Own a personal set of professional type and quality AED, Manikin and Oxygen delivery unit.
  • Be an active Respond Right Asia Divers First Aid Instructor;
  • Have no ethics or Standards violation pending or any verified ethics or Standards violations in the past 12 months with Respond Right Asia or any other training organization;
  • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from active Respond Right Asia Instructor Trainers.

Certification and Active Status Requirements:

  • Maintain proof of current training in First Aid and CPR;
  • Maintain proof of current training in the emergency administration of oxygen. This shall include knowledge of the medical principles involved and practical use of an emergency oxygen unit;
  • Display leadership behaviors as well as pass all requirements as listed in the program curriculum.
  • These requirements include:
  • Pass a Final Exam with a minimum score of 90%;
  • Pass a demonstration quality Academic Teaching Evaluation lesson with a 52 point score;
  • Pass a interactive workshop presentation;
  • Consistently evaluate academic and workshop presentations within 4 marks of HQ;
  • Exemplify the Respond Right Asia philosophy and display competence in applying the Respond Right Asia Business System;
  • Comply every two (2) years with all Renewal procedures;
  • Maintain Professional Liability Insurance (where applicable);
  • Attend IT Updates at least every two years or when required by Respond Right Asia HQ;
  • Are required to work through an active Respond Right Asia Training Centre

**Respond Right Instructor Trainer can only be certified by a RRA HQ - Instructor Certifier
